This automatic feeder is a fantastic investment if you spend long days away from home or if your cats have decided your wake-up time is 5 a.m. The inclusion of stainless steel bowls is a huge plus, as it prevents the annoying feline acne often caused by cheap plastic bowls. It works extremely reliably, and the dispensing motor is powerful enough to prevent jams with standard-sized kibble. The only thing to keep in mind is that the food division is strictly 50/50; if you have a greedy cat that steals food from the other, this gadget won't solve that problem on its own. Beyond that, the backup battery system works perfectly, giving you complete peace of mind that your four-legged companions will receive their food on time, no matter what.
